Understand the idea
For many present-simple questions, use do with I/you/we/they and does with he/she/it. Put the base verb after the subject. Use question word + do/does + person + base verb: Where does Riya study? For a yes/no question, leave out the question word: Does Riya study here? With am/is/are, ask Are you tired? You do not need do. With can, ask Can you swim? This lesson focuses on ordinary action verbs such as like, work and play.
See a worked example
Do you like mangoes? / Does she play chess? / Where do you live?
A useful check
The main verb stays in its base form after does.
