Terms of use

These terms govern your use of the AI Study Guru WhatsApp assistant and the website www.aistudyguru.in (together, the “service”). By chatting with the assistant or using the website, you accept these terms. If you are below 18 years of age, you should use the service with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian.

1. Study aid only — not official

AI Study Guru is an independent learning assistant. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of CBSE, NCERT, GSEB, UP Board, Maharashtra Board, Bihar Board, NTA or any other board, university or government body.

• AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Always check your NCERT or state textbook and your teacher's instructions.
• Exam dates, syllabus changes, admit cards and results are official matters — confirm them only on official websites such as cbse.gov.in or your board's portal.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service only for learning and agree not to:

• Use answers to cheat in a live exam or complete assessments that must be your own work;
• Send unlawful, harassing, abusive, obscene or sexual content, including anything involving the abuse of minors — such content is reported and blocked;
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the bot, website or our systems, or scrape the site aggressively;
• Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute access to the service without written permission.

We may limit, suspend or stop accounts that break these rules, with or without notice, where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.

3. Free and paid plans

• The free plan includes a limited number of AI teaching prompts per day, which resets around midnight IST.
• Premium plans and current prices are listed on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your card or UPI credentials.
• Monthly and yearly plans auto-renew until you cancel the mandate in your UPI app or with your card issuer. Premium applies for the period you paid for.
• Refunds are handled as described on the pricing page or by writing to support on WhatsApp +91 91575 16794. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.

4. Advertising and third-party links

This website may display advertisements served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense, and may link to third-party websites or services (such as WhatsApp groups). We do not control third-party ads or sites and are not responsible for their content, products or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Advertising revenue helps keep the free plan free; ads are not endorsements.

5. Intellectual property

The AI Study Guru name, logo, website design, and original study material are our property or used under licence. You may share links to our pages freely. You may not copy substantial parts of the site or bot content for your own website or commercial product without written permission. Explanations generated for you are for your personal study use.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the assistant available 24×7, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Features, commands, quotas and pricing can change. We may add, modify or remove features, and may interrupt the service for maintenance or reasons beyond our control (network outages, WhatsApp platform changes, third-party API limits).

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Study Guru is not liable for exam scores, missed deadlines, lost study time, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated answers. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will first be addressed through our support channel on WhatsApp +91 91575 16794; if it cannot be resolved amicably, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Gujarat, India.
