Phonics, pronunciation and first reading
Nursery to Class 5. We teach the sound first (sss, not “ess”), then blend, then read. Class 3–5 also get sh/ch/th and longer lines. Mouth tips in Hindi, Gujarati or Marathi.
1. Sounds
SATPIN first: s a t p i n. Snake sss, apple a, tap t. Mouth tip every time.
2. Blend
s-a-t → sat. Jr KG hears it. Sr KG says the whole word.
3. Read
Tiny books: “The cat sat on a mat.” Plus sight words I, a, the, is, my, on.
